This is going to be a relatively brief post and is in reaction to a few questions and answers I have come across this weekend regarding Google+ and businesses. I recently came across a question from a small business owner (an accountant) who was wondering whether it was worth his time to set up, optimise and maintain a Google+ business page, he complained that maintaining a Twitter and Facebook account was time consuming enough. The advice that he received took me a little by surprise, he was advised that Google+ was a complete waste of time and that he was better off investing his efforts into his ongoing Twitter and Facebook pages. Now you may well be asking “so what? nobody uses Google+ anyway!” and if you are then this blog post is aimed specifically at you.
